The R66T Academy is excited to be launching the return of the R66T T20 Cup at venues across the country throughout the summer holidays! We are looking for cricketers aged between 11 and 14 who are not currently on a county age group pathway. After a successful tournament in 2023 and 2024, our T20 Cup will be returning at 5 locations - Bristol, Southhampton, North East, Derbyshire, and Sheffield.

On the day, you will be assigned a team and receive a bespoke team shirt to be worn throughout the day.  You will play two matches across the day with plenty of opportunities to showcase your skills. As well as your shirt, you will also receive a certificate for competing in the competition.

COMPETITION RULES

The T20 games will be played with a red ball, and players are asked to play in white bottoms if possible. The competition rules will ensure that all players are guaranteed full involvement. Batters will retire at 25 runs, or after 25 balls. Meanwhile, every player must bowl two overs.

If all players have batted in an innings and there are overs left, the innings will continue with retired batters coming back in first until 20 overs have been bowled. 20 full overs will be bowled in each innings, regardless of wickets lost. All 12 squad members will be rotated continuously in each game and 12 players will bat.

R66T Academy coaches will be in attendance to support and advise the teams, and we will also provide local umpires. There will be a presentation at the end of each day to announce the winners. 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Registration and warm-up takes place from 9am
  • The cup will end at approximately 5pm
  • Players must bring their own food [no nuts please] and drink
  • Players will be given their franchise t-shirt on the day of the tournament

3-5 Places Booked = 10% Discount Per Player 

6-8 Places Booked = 15% Discount Per Player

 9-11 Places Booked = 20% Discount Per Player 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The R66T Academy reserve the right to cancel any T20 Cup competition with 5 days notice should the number of attendees does not reach 30 for each venue - bookers will receive a full refund. Should inclement weather force the cancellation of any T20 Cup competition before the day it is due to be held a full refund will be issued to all customers. Should inclement weather force the abandonment of any T20 Cup competition on the day, the following refunds will be given;  - Abandonment before the first ball of the day, with all players present - 70% refund - Abandonment after the first ball of the day but before 1pm - 35% refund - Abandonment after 1pm - No refund
